U.A.S. Central Government

Staff Onboarding & Access

Managed by the CYCOM Bureau, Department of Technical Services.

Purpose

This portal describes how U.A.S. government staff are onboarded into the official email service and how access is governed.

Primary user entry: Webmail

Governance Roles

  • hr: submits onboarding requests
  • supervisor: approves or rejects requests
  • mail-admin: provisions and manages mailboxes
  • security-auditor: reviews audit events

Operational Flow

  1. Initiation: HR or a Supervisor submits an onboarding request with staff number, official email address, and department.
  2. Approval: A Supervisor or Mail Admin approves (or rejects) the request for governance and auditability.
  3. Provisioning: The CYCOM Bureau provisions the mailbox and applies quota and lifecycle policy.
  4. First Login: The staff member signs in to Webmail and sets identity/signature settings if prompted.

Audit & Compliance

Onboarding and mailbox lifecycle actions are recorded as audit events. Authorized personnel can review the most recent events via /api/v1/audit/events.

Account access

Forgot your mail passphrase?

U.A.S. Mail passphrases cannot be viewed or recovered. Access is restored through a verified, administrator-managed reset.

  1. Contact your departmental supervisor or an authorised CYCOM mail administrator through your approved internal channel.
  2. Provide only your staff number and government email address so your identity can be verified.
  3. Complete the required identity checks and follow the reset instructions issued by the administrator.

Never disclose an existing or new passphrase, verification code, recovery token, or MFA code—even to support personnel.
